About Ohio Wesleyan

The campus

Ohio Wesleyan is located on 200 acres of land about 20 miles from Columbus, Ohio and its official address is in Delaware, Ohio. The school includes the academic campus as well as the Perkins Observatory and the Kraus Wilderness Preserve.

Ratings and reviews

In 2010, U.S. News and World Report ranked the school in the top tier of private liberal arts college nationwide. It was also identified as one of the top 48 most selective private schools in a study called Educating America's Scientists.

Academics

Ohio Wesleyan University offers 93 undergraduate majors across 31 departments. A new building was added for the Economics Department in 2001. Faculty and staff focus on cultivating critical thinking skills in their students and on exposing them to a wide range of fields.

Athletics

The sports teams at Ohio Wesleyan are known as the Battling Bishops and athletes wear red and black. The school is a part of the North East Conference and participates in NCAA Division III Athletics.

This private university has a lot to offer and sets high standards in academics and athletics. Ohio Wesleyan is an excellent choice for any student.
